A few years ago Cubby Culbertson came up with the idea to do a three-minute podcast of each of Oswald Chambers’ daily devotionals from his My Utmost For His Highest. He called it Understanding Oswald and you can find it on Podcasts.

What I Gained from Oswald’s August 5th Devotional

Do you typically have a calm, relaxed pace in your day-to-day life? Should a follower of Jesus have this pace? If you do not, it is likely because you have a purpose of your own, and you are darn sure going to control things – and people – to achieve that purpose. But of course there is no calm, relaxed pace in that.
